Mr. Hansen is a founding Partner of Hansen Seto, LLP. After graduating from college he worked for five years as an engineer and contract administrator in the aerospace industry. After graduating from law school, Mr. Hansen worked in private industry for ten years during which time he became General Counsel and Executive Vice President of a New York Stock Exchange company that was very actively engaged in mergers and acquisitions of technology companies.
Following his years of experience in private industry, Mr. Hansen became a partner in a prominent Los Angeles law firm, continuing his practice in corporations, mergers and acquisitions for five years before founding his own law firm to focus on start-up and emerging technology companies and corporate securities. His practice is concentrated in representing small to medium sized companies in manufacturing, software, technology, and service businesses, counseling, negotiating and implementing business transactions and private financings from the start-up phase through the merger and acquisition or public offering stage.
Mr. Hansen is a founder and Board Member of the Software Council of Southern California, Electronic Commerce Organization, The Business Network, and the Organization of Chinese American Entrepreneurs.

Mr. Seto is a founding partner of Hansen Seto, LLP. He was born in Los Angeles and raised and educated in Southern California. After graduating from college he worked for ten years in the health care field as a clinician, specializing in cardiac rehabilitation and sports medicine, and as an administrator, managing clinical therapy departments and medical groups at two major Southern California medical centers. Concurrently, and until 1990, Mr. Seto managed his family’s privately held company which was engaged in the restaurant and real estate development and management business. During this period he also attended the USC Graduate of Business where he received an MBA and Loyola Law School where he received his J.D.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Seto practiced for four years at Price, Postel & Parma, in Santa Barbara, California, where he worked on various business, tax, securities, litigation and administrative law matters. Mr. Seto joined Petillon & Hansen in 1994, becoming a partner in 1996, and concentrates his practice in representing small to medium sized companies in the manufacturing, technology, transportation, and service sectors, counseling, negotiating and implementing business transactions and private financings from the start-up phase through the merger and acquisition or public offering stage or to the internal succession of ownership and control. In the course of his business practice, Mr. Seto also represents his clients in business litigation matters that his clients encounter.

PRACTICE AREAS
Mr. Horikawa was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised and educated in Southern California. After graduating from law school, he was a founding partner in two law firms (Uyeda & Horikawa and Horikawa, Ono & Yamamoto) where he specialized in civil litigation, trials, and administrative law. Mr. Horikawa also worked for three years in the Civil Liabilites Section of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, during where he devoted a significant amount of time defending claims against the Los Angeles Police Department.
While engaged in his law practice, Mr. Horikawa also served as a Commissioner for the California Fair Employment & Housing Commission, having been appointed by Governor George Deukmejian to the Commission in 1984. During his four year term, Mr. Horikawa conducted and participated in more than 70 administrative and public hearings which resulted in the issuance of approximately 25 decisions published in the Commission’s Reporter.
After serving as Of Counsel to Petillon & Hansen from 1999 to 2003, Mr. Horikawa joined Hansen Seto, LLP, as its founding, as Of Counsel to bring very substantial litigation and trial capabilities to the firm. He is continuing his practice in the areas of employment and civil right litigation and is expanding his practice in the area of business.

Mr. Brandlin was born and raised in El Segundo and the South Bay. After graduating from law school, he worked for ten years in private practice with his brother Bruce Brandlin in the law firm of Brandlin & Brandlin, practicing in areas of probate, estate planning, real estate, and plaintiffs’ litigation.
After serving as Of Counsel to Petillon & Hansen from 1999 to 2003, Mr. Brandlin joined Hansen Seto, LLP at its founding as Of Counsel to the firm, continuing his practice in the areas of probate and estate planning and expanding his practice in the areas of business organizations and transactions.
